AN UNPUBLISHED MORENO BONDI TO THE GALLERIA TRIPHE’ IN ROME

"REBIRTH BY FIRE"

Moreno Bondi has chosen the Gallery Triphè and the enterprising curator Maria Laura Perilli for a preview of his most innovative works. The exhibition “REBIRTH BY FIRE” is going to open on October 9th 2017 (19.00), on the occasion of the Rome Art Week, and will remain open until 11 November (Gallery Triphè, Via the Fosse of the Castle 2, Rome).

Between them works, all unpublished, a special space will be dedicated to the “BURNING”, in which Moreno Bondi plays the reckless destruction of the common cultural heritage (landscape, beauty, archaeology, art) by burning his impressive and precious paintings painted by oil. In fact, the Project Room of the Gallery Triphè will host an installation of flames and fire for introducing a series of “CRITICALLY ENDANGERED”, with works crying the devastation caused by willing disdain and unconscious carelessness of beauty.

Will be presented, in addition, the innovative series “INTROVERSIONS”, made with the particular technique to integrate the two-dimensionality of the framework with the three dimensions of the sculpture.

“Moreno Bondi -says Maria Laura Perilli – exceeds the flat surface of the painting by integrating with an unusual capacity of synthesis in the composition, the dynamism of Futurism -expressed by the decided obliquity sharp – and the virtuosity of the Baroque, while the presence of burnings superimposed on the figures recalls the work of Alberto Burri. In this way, he shows the ability to coagulate the intersections of history, filtered through the contemporary and shaped by deep knowledge of multiple techniques”.

The artist combines oil painting and sculpture in marble (personally made) to the contemporary languages. Thanks to the in-depth knowledge of the techniques, his art declines in an innovative way: starting from sculpture, inserted in the picture, passing by the overlaying canvases before expertly painted and then machined and torn with fire, up to the engineering introversion of the canvas, with some digression in the traditional Installation

The aim is to project the picture into the surrounding space and offer the public a growing involvement with the work of art.
