The exhibition will feature 12 ceramic vases, unique works byestablished Italian artists and young talents from Officine Ceramiche Roma. The exhibition is curated by Lucia Pierelli,a certified teacher at the Sogetsu School in Tokyo.

As part of ROME ART WEEK 2025, Containing Beauty is a group exhibition born

from the desire to explore the dialogue between two profoundly symbolic artistic languages: contemporary

ceramics and the Japanese art of Ikebana. A poetic encounter between form, material, and nature,

capable of generating reflections on containing, embracing, and transforming. The exhibition will be held from October 18 to 26, 2025, at the Evandro Gabrieli Gallery & Studio, a new space dedicated to contemporary

ceramics located in Rome's Marconi district. The recently inaugurated space is already active in

promoting ceramic art as an autonomous artistic language. Curated by Lucia Pierelli,

a certified teacher at the Sogetsu School of Tokyo, who, together with Paola Belfiore, hosts Ikebanalab

– Ikebana Scuola Sogetsu Roma,” the exhibition will feature 12 ceramic vases, unique works by

established artists and young talents on the Italian scene: Alessandro Artino, Antonio Taschini, Alberto

Bustos, Mirco Denicolò, Evandro Gabrieli, Luisa Gamba, Silvia Granata, Sara Kirschen, Alexia

Manzoni Porath, Claudia Lamberti, Ilaria Paolucci, Acqua Ratti Pasek, and Antonio Taschini.

The group is completed by representatives and students of the Associazione Culturale Officine Ceramiche Roma,

a school and coworking space dedicated to ceramics.
