**"Materia Live" – Tea with Marco Appicciafuoco and Exhibition Presentation**

An Abruzzese artist and sculptor-ceramist at the beginning of his career, Marco Appicciafuoco is considered close to the Italian Transavantgarde movement. He is deeply sensitive to climate emergencies, ecological balance, and environmental criticism relevant to our time. Around 22 works will be on display, ranging from aluminum prints and black pen drawings on graph paper to ceramic sculptures using materials like semire, white engobe, glass, LED, stoneware, glazes, platinum, and acrylics—a mix-and-match of materials that create a striking visual and artistic impact, representing Appicciafuoco's artistic signature.

An emotional journey narrated by the author, this biographical and heroic adventure highlights the difficulties of being an artist in love with nature in a world that destroys, pollutes, and abuses natural elements. Accompanied by music, always a source of inspiration and a backdrop to the creative act, Marco Appicciafuoco will discuss his latest work, a new period of inspiration, detailing its characteristics and purpose.

The exhibition will feature 22 works, including aluminum prints, drawings on paper, and structures made from various materials such as stoneware, glass, steel, and plastic. Art critic Maria Chiara Strappaveccia and art historian Chiara Orizio, curators of the "Materia Live" exhibition—whose catalogs will be available at the gallery—have praised Appicciafuoco's ability to transform matter into a vehicle for artistic and environmentalist messages.

The exhibition will be held at the Spazio Mecenate Gallery in Rome, from October 17 to November 3, 2024, featuring 22 works.
