After studying at the State Art Institute of Ciampino, at the end of which he obtained the Diploma of Art Master and the Diploma of Maturity in Applied Art (Ceramics Art section), he enrolled in 1989 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome in the Sculpture Course, taught by teachers Alfio Mongelli and Saverio Zinza.
In 1993, he earned a Diploma in Sculpture with honors, defending a thesis entitled "A New Working Methodology: The Game of Consequences in Lucio Fontana's Investigations."
In the 1992-1993 academic year, he was selected for the Erasmus Project, as the only scholarship recipient for Sculpture among the students of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. He attended the National Hoger Institut Voor Schone Kunsten in Antwerp, where he furthered his studies with teachers Wilfried Pass and Lode De Preter.
Through participation in public competitions based on qualifications and exams, he has earned various qualifications and teaching qualifications, both at the Academy of Fine Arts for Ornamental Sculpture and for Sculpture Disciplines at Art High Schools and Art Institutes.
After an initial period teaching Sculpture Disciplines at the State Art Institute and Art High School, since 1997 he has taught Ornamental Sculpture at the Academies of Fine Arts in Palermo, Florence, Carrara, and L'Aquila.
In 2002, he was transferred to the Rome campus, where he still teaches Ornamental Sculpture and Contemporary Sculpture Techniques.
He has also taught courses in Sculpture Techniques and Technologies.
