Spazio Nuovo, which opened in Rome in 2010, has rapidly become well known among collectors of contemporary art thanks to its research for emerging artists’ production. In a city known for its abundance of antique artistic treasures, Guillaume Maitre and Paulo Perez Mouriz wish to give contemporary art a special place, paying particular attention to talented Latin American artists and photographers.
Spazio Nuovo is located a few minutes away from the Pantheon, in a neighbourhood of artisans' ateliers. Following the opening of MAXXI and MACRO, it contributes to Rome's burgeoning contemporary art scene.
