The event originates in the project that took place for one week in July 2018 during the open air summer cinema of Piazza Vittorio (“Arena - Notti di Cinema a Piazza Vittorio”) when our association ARCO DI GALLIENO opened a free photo studio where whoever wanted could sit and have his or her portrait taken in the old tradition of studio portraiture. Lone passers by, couples, families, groups of friends, kids, adults, locals, migrants, tourists, all kind of people gave it a try. We gathered hundreds of photos that we then asked the various artists of our association to work on. The idea was for them to take these pictures and to transform them as they pleased in the artistic language that was theirs.

All this work (photos and artwork derived from them) will be projected on the wall next to the piazzetta della Chiesa di S.Eusebio, Piazza Vittorio, on Friday October 26 from 18:00 to 20:30. The idea of this street slideshow is to give back to the neighbourhood and its people the beauty of a memorable and enriching experience.

This project is organized by ARCO DI GALLIENO from the original idea of Michel Bédouin in close collaboration with Beatrice Pasquet, Elisabetta Pizzichetti, Elena Pinzuti, Carlo Grossi, Leonella Masella, Lucilla Monardi, Cesare Colognesi, Enzo Testa and Monique Drosso.
