On Friday 26 October 2018 at 6 pm the Kill The Pig cultural association in partnership with the creative communication agency Reverse Studio, gives temporary access to the personal process faced by the artist Jerico Cabrera Carandang; result of more than a month of ongoing residence in the studio.

“Simbiosi” is an open dialogue between the lyrics of Nature and the poetics perceived by Man, an artistic survey in which every observer will be invited to take part. A perceptive path for those who feel the urgency of embracing an important discussion on the drifts of the Human Emotion.

Harsh Natures, consisting of dry brushstrokes, find a proper balance with the greasy expression of his human figure in a context not involved in the common celebrative intentions. No framed work nor exhibition programs, just a close invitation to discover the private studies of Jerico who, through drawings on paper, moldeds of clay and paintings on jute canvas, has focused his own aesthetic research on “The Nature of Man as Man in Nature”.

“A 'pure' artist... One of those for whom Art is a direct extension of their being. Just in his nakedness. For Jerico all things are possible. Everything can be depicted. There are no subjects hard, there are no subjects that scare him. We only need to observe, make it all go away throught the eyes and then throught the heart. From there his interpretation of the Nature begins. Coherent. Brave. Without any symbols and lightened from the conceptual heaviness. His painting is connected to the soul of things. His eyes are clean and direct. His message is his feeling.”
