Leonardo D'Amico throughout his trajectory of pictorial experimentation he has investigated the ralationship between spatiality and the synthesis of signs, refining an original and recognizable lenguage. He expresses, whit inventive coherence and metaphorical language, persistence as well as fragmentary reality and an uncoordinated vision in line with the development of contemporary art. It was in 1998 that his first solo exhibition "Landscapes" was held at the University of Calabria in Cosenza. From 1998 to 2008 came recognition with solo exhibitions as well as partecipation in group shows, both in Italy and abroad. In 2009 he was invited to take part the group exhibition AB OVO. At the Origin of Form, from an idea by Claudio Abate, Studio Abate, Rome.In 2010 he was once again invited to AB OVO2 at the Scuderie Aldobrandini, Frascati. Later in 2010 came his solo show "Dekompozim", at the National Museum of Tirana. In 2013 he was invited to the group show "Contemporary Dialogues", National Archaeological Museum of Sibaritide. In 2015 were his solo show "E' Senza" Leonardo D'Amico, Luigi Di Sarro Centre of Documentation for Contemporary Artistic Research, Rome, and "Leonardo D'Amico/THE UNKNOWN LIMIT", at the Castle of Charles V and at the MACK/Museum of Contemporary Art of Crotone. In 2018 there was the solo exhibition, Leonardo D'Amico REPETITA in the exhibition halls of Palazzo Lucarini Contemporary, Trevi. Leonardo D'Amico lives and works in Rome.
